Geography lesson.

Let me ask you a geographical question. How many states are there in Malaysia? Can you name them all?

I show you visually. 11 states in West Malaysia. 2 states in East Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. Total up 13 of them all.

See the diagram below, There are the 13 states within the boundary of rectangular dash line. The one with heart shape, there is my beloved home state, Sabah. And my hometown is located at the east coast, Sandakan.



My story is.....
I was at the 7-11 to fax my industrial training letter back to hometown. I asked the store keeper if their fax service can fax my stuff to Sabah.

Store keeper: tak boleh. luar malaysia tak boleh.

luar malaysia??? what you say??? you know sabah???? I can't believe that there are people still does not know that other than the ubi Peninsula, there are actually a dog head Sabah and a its body Sarawak. We named Peninsula + Sabah + Sarawak as Malaysia.

p/s: I will be going back to my hometown to do the industrial training. Proposed to leave next week, coming back end of Jan.
p/p/s: the factory is located 72 miles away from downtown. might be shortage of internet access. How am i gonna survive there? hmmmmmm start downloading more dramas, more movies and more games i guess.

Long lost sis.

This evening, a kc junior aka my sis classmate, nudged me at msn. She claimed that she saw a picture of me posted up on the Pictures of Happiness contest by Sony. It was taken in Malacca. She still said that she was impressed by the humour we had.

I was like errrrr.... Malacca? Who post that up?

I insisted her to show me that pic. She directed me to that specific page.

I am so so so so fade up of finding a company, willing to provide me industrial training!!!!

I had been sending out so many letter of application since SEPTEMBER and nobody replies. What the hell is wrong with the HR department? Could you at least reply me with 'sorry your application has failed'? Let me die heart faster rather just plain waiting and planting mushrooms.

Since plan A is gg, then I shall move on to plan B. CALL. I try to get as much contact as possible from the internet. Tried calling one by one the whole morning.

"hello, I am a second year student of chemical engineering, I would like to ask about the industrial training with your company."

RESULT =

"oh we don't have"

"we don't provide training"

"the positions are full at the moment"

"wait until you reach 3rd year then you call back"

"we only accept application at mid year"

"the person who in charge is not in yet"

"this is the office not the factory"

Some of them are nicer and helpful a bit,

"December and January are full, why not you try to write in earlier next year"

"let me have your email, I will get in touch with you"

One of them very cruel and mean,

"sorry no!" hang up!

walao ehhhhhh i am not asking money from you k. How hard is that to give me a training for uni sake?

My mum comes out with this brilliant idea,

"go back to sandakan, your uncle will get you the biggest palm oil refining factory in Malaysia to work at. You know, you don't have to work there but your evaluation report going to be very nice."

Yea rite as if i really want to stuck there celebrating Christmas and New Year... ALONE!
Well well well well, at the end still have to solve it, might or might not seeing me during christmas and new year, let's see how then. I can't make up my mind yet.

Strange encounter.

Went to explore bangsar boutiques this afternoon, with the ass aka Ms Yeong Sook Fern.

basically, she is the one who want to buy new clothes preparing for chinese new year which is in 2 months time. I lead her the way to bangsar only. And teman her for lunch at madam kwan's. It was the first time she been there. "Nasi bojari not bad oh!" You thought only kota bharu has nice malay food meh. Of course pricey la.... consider as Branded ma.....

Never know bangsar has so many boutiques hiding upstair at the first and second floor. Can they merge all the blocks, for letting us save energy to climb up every stairs. Alternatively, please build electronic stairs. Tak boleh tahan.

That ass happily choosing, trying and buying clothes. While i was happily glancing, flipping and trying. No choice la. Save abit lo. Will gonna have to spend A LOT on the australia trip.

Then almost reached the end of the exploration, we dropped by 'sew & soul'. I think amber chia owns it, to be further clarified. When we were about to leave, that store keeper, a middle-aged auntie approached, i thought she gonna open the electronic door for us, but.....

Auntie: Who do you think is fatter? (staring at the ass, requesting for an answer)
pause a while, me and the ass stunned there.
Me: of course it is me! round, big, huge.
the ass still figuring where to press the button to open up the door.
Auntie: Yea meh? I think I am fatter wor. (answer back very seriuosly)
Me: no la. It is me! I can't fit it the dresses here.
the ass had not find the button yet. It was up there.
Auntie: no la. I am bigger bah.
Me: hohoho ya hor.....
the ass still searching. how i wish i was could step forward to press it.
Auntie: I am bigger. (who cares? I know I am big, don like to compare)
Finally the door is opened,
Me: bye bye (quickly ran down the stairs)
Auntie: Please come again. You will find your happiness soon. (你会很幸福的）

actually I did not listen carefully to what she said after i waved and said bye bye. It was repeated by the ass.

Free like a bird.

I finished my sem 2 finals. And i am now having the 3 months+ summer break.
today is the fifth free day. i am starting to feel the sienzzzness.
Cant do too much shopping 'cause the figure in my account book is dropping bit by bit. The weather drives me crazy. It could either be too hot or big sudden rain in the evening. The malls are pack with people, school holiday arrives, parents likes to bring their kids to kl to shop. The uneven colour tone of my laptop screen makes me lose the mood of watching either movies, dramas or play games. The world is not safe, so many crimes out there, it does really freak me out.

People asked me, how are you going to spend your loooooooong break.
I said, REEEEEEEEEELAX. I guess 2 days enough. Days after that, spider web and mushroom start growing all over my body.

Before finals, i made a plan. I planned to let November to be my free month to do whatever i want, of course within my parent's restrictions. That's zzzZzzz. Staring December until end of January, i would be doing my internship. If i am lucky enough, I might be flying to kangaroo home in mid February.

So far. none of the above is confirmed. I applied placement of industrial training in few companies, no reply! aiks. my dad's friend helped to submit my application to his company. hope his company could get me a place. Or else, plan needs to change. hmmm. I might need to get a high salary part time job to work for, earn around 3k, get myself a brand new laptop next year!!! no more compaq. no more hp. for the people i recommended compaq to, no harm using compaq, just that i lost my confidence to compaq that's all. Probably i may end up buying compaq as my second laptop. who knows.

and I really Really pray hard that i could get the offer to fly to clayton. hope god hears that. winks.

I will be going to singore next week!!!! Well well well. the exchange rate now is so damn high. 1 sing dollar to 2.5 Ringgit. I have hundred plus sing dollar in my purse now, hope it is sufficient for my few days stay in singapore. A budget trip for me i would say.

How am i going to spend the end of november. hmmm i think i will finish up knitting the scarf i left over last year. HAhahaha. shameful. and also keep praying i will pass all my papers!!!
