Read the past.

It's been quite some time since i came back from Australia. Just tonight I finally have to mood to clear off the mess in my room. As usual, piles and piles of rubbish to throw away.

In the afternoon, my mum just asked me, what was inside those shoe boxes that are hiding at a small corner of my room. A layer of dust covered the surface. Blow away the dust, opened it up, OH a box full of envelopes!

Yup those are my letters/cards collection. I have collected them since I moved to KL in 2003.

A cute birthday card made by Khai Xhuen, written by all of my collegemates in 2006.

The drawing that Shan drew to me in 2008. Illustrating the distance between she and me when i was doing my intern in hometown. Sabah is a state of Malaysia k! =)

From one of my close friends during my form 1 and form 2, look at the date, it was written in 2002!

HAHAHAHAHA I was the luckiest one for that christmas in 2007, but the one who got my gift was the unluckiest one. You should know who you are huh? HAHAHAHAHA

Small pouch made by Mui Yen in 2004, for my birthday! It got dirty due to my poor handling. :S

Looking back at all those letters, cards, notes and small gifts, they lead me all the way back to respective years. They sort of recorded the bits and pieces of my life. And i found out that is one thing i never change since last time, I LOVE complaining! HOHO. I have so many unsatisfaction in life meh???

I used to write this kinda snail mail before the high popularity of ICQ or MSN. The internet connection was so suck back then. Jaring dial up. Does anyone here still using Jaring now? My constant pen pal was my primary school mate, Suk Ling. We are no longer using snail mail to keep in touch, but we have another way of keeping in touch. We shared alot, we bitched alot. She was and she is still the source for knowing more updates from hometown. We used to send letter very often to each other, constantly sent small lovely gifts, eventhough the gifts were so small, nothing at people's eyes, but they meant alot to me! some of them I still keep them til now! I remember, everytime after school, the first thing after stepping out from school bus, was to peek into the pigeon hole and checked if i'd got a mail! Whenever the envelope had my name on it, it did really brighten up my day! The excitement was undescribable!

The excitement is decreasing day by day. I don't peek into the pigeon hole that often anymore. The peeking excitement switches to opening email inbox. However, both excitements are incomparable. I still love reading people's handwriting. I find handwriting can express the full real feelings and emotions of the writer more, compare to dull emotionless typewriting.

I hope the amount of letters and cards I got is still counting!
